NetBSD/pmax asc(4) SCSI error

Greetings,

Trying to netboot DECstation 5000/260. asc(4) get frozen on SCSI scan
with 9.3, but not with 8.0 or 10-current. Adapter have external disk box
attached if that matters.

10-BETA boot:

[ 1.0000000] asc0 at ioasic0 offset 0x300000: NCR53C94, 25MHz, SCSI ID 7
[ 1.0000000] scsibus0 at asc0: 8 targets, 8 luns per target
[ 1.0000000] sfb0 at tc0 slot 0 offset 0x0: 1280x1024, 8bpp
[ 1.0000000] wsdisplay0 at sfb0 kbdmux 1
[ 1.0018658] scsibus0: waiting 2 seconds for devices to settle...
[ 1.0838572] WARNING: system needs entropy for security; see entropy(7)

9.3 boot:

[ 1.0067919] scsibus0: waiting 2 seconds for devices to settle...
[ 13.0768947] probe(asc0:0:0:0): asc0: timed out [ecb 0x89f2cfa8 (flags 0x1, dl
eft 24, stat 0)], <state 2, nexus 0x89f2cfa8, phase(l 0, c 101, p 101), resid 0,
 msg(q 0,o 0) >
[ 15.2565529] probe(asc0:0:0:0): asc0: timed out [ecb 0x89f2cfa8 (flags 0x41, d
left 24, stat 0)], <state 2, nexus 0x89f2cfa8, phase(l 0, c 101, p 101), resid 0
, msg(q 0,o 0) > AGAIN

And then it is hung forever.

sys/arch/pmax/tc/asc_ioasic.c seem to have no recent significant changes.

Is there any hint about changes to pull to compile working 9.3 kernel?

Complete dmesg containing the problem:
