Re: NetBSD and old nvidia laptop card / crash and unusable X11

Hi,

It is entirely possible to build a full current or 10 release on 9. You
can then run either kernel with 9 userland.

To build, just "./build.sh release". The time you have to wait will be
less than the time to figure out how to avoid that. But you can build
tools, and then kernel, without building all of userland.

I hoped to skimp on tools :) But well... I did try not to build full release.
I did build tools
./build.sh -U tools

then kernel
./build.sh kernel=myconf

but kernel build fails. I thought to have gootten a bad CVS release, updated and now tool fails :(

I will report on netbsd current, since for pratical purposes it is an issue of building current on i386... debugging nouveau will come later!
