I enjoy irc chat and following #netbsd. Hexchat is fine, but I like
playing with irssi. I've never been able to get the pkgin irssi to work
for me, but if I'm willing to be patient it only takes half an hour on
my older machine to compile it from pkgsrc. I normally install a fresh
current snapshot every week or two and play with it. The last two times
I've had the make irssi fail on me. The little text file make_irssi is
attached.

Try 'make replace' in libffi.

Thanks a lot, Christos! I navigated to libffi and did a 'make replace', then back to irssi and it got hung again on perl5, but I found perl5 in pkgsrc, did another 'make replace', then back to irssi, where it finally finished and now irssi works. Thanks again.
