     This reminds me of a problem I was called in to diagnose/fix
once.  The system was an older Sun runing SunOS.  In order to deal
with / being full, a junior sysadmin had moved several things from
/etc to another file system and put symlinks in place.  One of the
items moved was /etc/mount.  Guess what happened on next reboot.
To fix it, I netbooted the system from my laptop runing NetBSD,
mounted the disks and undid the damage.  Said junior sysadmin,
promptly redid the damage...
