...and it makes NetBSD an actual option as a foundation for long term supported appliances, even if the vendor is only a one man company or a small company. That is my experience at least.

And of course NetBSD has the most friendly and welcoming community ;-)

In today's world, that's worth more than running after every technical "innovation" ;-)
