dhcpcd with fxp0 fails vs dhclient works

Hi,

when I tried to install RC3, I had a problem with autoconfiguration of the fxp0 network interface not working. Fine, I assigned something static and it worked.
Now, I attach the laptop at work where I do need to use a dynamic IP.

I thought about using "dhcpcd" since apparently that's where the future goes, but it doesn't work.... I get apparently an IP address, but at the end the interface is down and cycles forever.

and so on

Now I think.. let's try the old dhclient. And it works at the first attempt!
Sep 4 14:20:34 orthanc dhclient: Listening on BPF/fxp0/00:09:6b:30:89:cb
Sep 4 14:20:34 orthanc dhclient: Sending on BPF/fxp0/00:09:6b:30:89:cb

Sep 4 14:20:38 orthanc dhclient: bound to 10.10.0.170 -- renewal in 37269 secon

So... besides thinking that the trusty cdhclient shouldn't be retired because it always worked and continues to work well (and I like it more). What's wrong with the other client? I would say there is a bug. But is it in the fxp0 driver itself or dhcpcd?

It is not something related to cables/network I suppose, since home vs. work are different nets.
