Booting NetBSD from a USB Stick

Hi,

I have installed NetBSD 4.0 on a USB stick (sd0)

Sometimes it stops after detecting wd0 (if there's a wd0) and freezes there 
because sd0 was not detected.
I have had the same issue on two different computers. It boots the stick and 
sometimes sd is not recognized.

Is there something I can do ?
