Since this has been broken forever, and is a very
unlikely issue to be affecting anyone (like in almost
30 years, no reports) I don't think we need bother
with it for -10 or -9, which would need other earlier
changes applied as well (certainly the changes here
cannot be applied directly to -10 sources).
