 No need, I have the updated dd working - the actual change is
 truly trivial.   I have also made a trivial addition to the man page
 (which arguably might not actually be needed, but can't hurt).
 
 I am currently working on the ATF test - not the addition you
 supplied, but what was there before, which was somewhat "quaint".
 I will commit the update to that first (just its cleanups) and
 then the version with the new test, along with the src/bin/dd changes.
 Everything should be done within the next hour or two.

 What you sent was fine, supplying a patch on github probably assists
 some developers, but I dislike everything related to git so much, that
 I'd just prefer to use what is in the PR to fix things when a fix is
 needed.
