I'm running -current on a T410, and it's hit/miss whether it will produce
audio via built-in speakers or out audio jack at any one time... I've
taken to (as root)

hdaudioctl list hdaudioctl set 0x00 0x01 # adjust the 0x00, 0x01 per
output of hdaudioctl list -- I just picked first device listed in
"hdaudioctl list"

After this resetting, I can usually listen to audio as I want. Mixer,
however has been non-functional for a while now...
