It does, if you `modload wsbell'. Tested just now on 10.1_STABLE/i386 (QEMU) and
11.99.4/amd64 (real HW).

`:set noflash'

(The default is `flash'.)

For all of those TERM types, `tput bel' (and, `printf \\a') does ring the bell.

xset b 50 1500 100

will set the Xorg bell to the same vol., pitch and duration as the wscons bell.

Note that this too relies on the console bell working; and, you'll have to delay
the setting a bit if set in `~/.xinitrc'--something like:

{ sleep 3; xset b 50 1500 100; } &

Run `aiomixer' and make sure the volume(s) is OK and none of the mutes are turned
