It appears the terminal bell doesn't work with our definition of wsvt25É, is that right?

hello. If I log into one of the ttyEx consoles on my NetBSD/amd64 machine and I use the
default terminal type, wich is wsvt25, it appears the terminal bell doesn't work. If I open a file
with vi, then mash on the escape key, I get silence.
This also affects tmux sessions.
In looking at our copy of the terminfo database (/usr/share/misc/terminfo/terminfo), it appears
the bel attribute never gets set for wsvt25, tmux-256color or xterm type terminals.
I just checked and the bell doesn't work on xterm windows either.
Interestingly enough, if I log into a Debian 13 linux machine using the wsvt25 terminal type
and run vi from that terminal, using the same terminal type, the bell works.

Is this a known issue or is there another way to activate the bell on these terminals? As an
additional data point, if I set the terminal type to vt100 on the ttyEx console, the bell works
as expected.

-thanks
