Re: systems with -current wm(4) hang?

Now using if_wm.c r1.411.

The amd64-class systems I've tested so far:

Dell Optiplex 760 with:

PCI-Express built-in:
wm0 at pci0 dev 25 function 0: 82567LM-3 LAN Controller (rev. 0x02)

Has been working fine building packages during my test period (about
48 hours). Previously, would hang.

PCI add-in card:
wm1 at pci4 dev 0 function 0: Intel i82541PI 1000BASE-T Ethernet (rev. 0x05)

Has been working fine building packages during my test period (about
24 hours). Previously, would hang.

PCI-Express add-in card:
wm0 at pci1 dev 0 function 0: Intel i82574L (rev. 0x00)

This interface did not exhibit problems before. Rechecking to see if
there were any regressions. Stress testing building packages (about 24
hours) proceeded without incident

Dell PowerEdge 2850, PCI/PCI-X busses:

PCI/PCI-X built-in:
wm0 at pci6 dev 7 function 0: Intel i82541GI 1000BASE-T Ethernet (rev. 0x05)
wm1 at pci7 dev 8 function 0: Intel i82541GI 1000BASE-T Ethernet (rev. 0x05)

With each interface, booting and stress testing building packages
proceeded without incident. Previously, would hang.

Dell PowerEdge SC430, PCI/PCIe busses:

PCI-Express add-in card:
wm0 at pci2 dev 0 function 0: Intel PRO/1000 PT (82571EB) (rev. 0x06)
wm1 at pci2 dev 0 function 1: Intel PRO/1000 PT (82571EB) (rev. 0x06)

Interface "wm0" did not exhibit problems before. Rechecking to see if
there were any regressions. Stress testing building packages proceeded
without incident.

Interface "wm1" is not bootable and therefore was not tested.

The i386 systems I've tested:

IBM ThinkPad T42 (pentium-4m) with:

PCI built-in (daughtercard module):
wm0 at pci2 dev 1 function 0: Intel i82540EP 1000BASE-T Ethernet (rev. 0x03)

Booting and building packages proceeded without incident during my test
period (about 24 hours). Previously, would hang.

An Intel D845EBG2 system board (pentium-4) with:

PCI add-in card:
wm0 at pci2 dev 2 function 0: Intel i82541PI 1000BASE-T Ethernet (rev. 0x05)

Has been working fine so far building packages (7 days and counting).
Previously, would hang.

IBM eServer x306, PCI/PCI-X busses:

PCI built-in:
wm0 at pci1 dev 1 function 0: Intel i82547GI 1000BASE-T Ethernet (rev. 0x00)
wm1 at pci3 dev 3 function 0: Intel i82541GI 1000BASE-T Ethernet (rev. 0x00)

With each interface, booting and stress testing building packages
proceeded without incident. Previously, would hang.

Thanks for the fix!
