Can you generate a NMI from the programmers button and see where it hung?

Either something's wrong with the button (the one to the right of the reset, below the power button on a g4/400?), or I've chosen the wrong button, because it doesn't do anything. (neither with the bad kernel, nor a good one) I've tried holding it in for several seconds, as well.

I see the same hang on my iBook G4 which doesn't have a programmer's button, complete with matt's latest arch/powerpc commit.

have fun
Michael
