Providing port specific sample xorg.conf file

Hi,

To use Xorg server properly, several ports require some machine
specific but common settings (wskbd protocol for keyboard,
CCW settings for PDA screen etc.) in xorg.org.

I think having a sample xorg.conf file would be useful for users
(since not all ports support X -configure) but currently no port
provides such file in distribution.

1) Is it a good idea to provide port specific sample xorg.conf files
   in distribution?

2) If yes, which source directory should have it?
   src/etc/etc.${MACHINE}, or somewhere in src/external/mit/xorg/server?
   (BTW x68k had xsrc/xfree/xc/programs/Xserver/hw/netbsd/x68k/X68kConfig)

3) Which set file should include it? xetc.tgz or xserver.tgz?
   (x68k put X68KConfig into xetc.tgz)

Comments?
