(EE) Error compiling keymap

Hi.

I installed a fresh 5.99.18 today and X fails to load keymaps:

(**) Option "CoreKeyboard"
(**) keyboard: always reports core events
(**) Option "Protocol" "standard"
(**) keyboard: Protocol: standard
(**) Option "AutoRepeat" "500 30"
(**) Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
(**) keyboard: XkbRules: "xorg"
(**) Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
(**) keyboard: XkbModel: "pc105"
(**) Option "XkbLayout" "fi"
(**) keyboard: XkbLayout: "fi"
(**) Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"
(**) keyboard: XkbVariant: "nodeadkeys"
(**) Option "CustomKeycodes" "off"
(**) keyboard: CustomKeycodes disabled
(II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "keyboard" (type: KEYBOARD)
(EE) Error compiling keymap (server-0)
(EE) XKB: Couldn't compile keymap
(WW) Couldn't load XKB keymap, falling back to pre-XKB keymap
(II) UnloadModule: "mouse"
(II) UnloadModule: "kbd"

I remember seeing this once because of wrong permissions on /var/tmp (or was
it /tmp), but this is not the case this time.

Any ideas? PR xsrc/40242 could be related.

On the bright side, two updates on 5.0 STABLE went well (radeon, intel 945).

- Jukka.
