Yes, my objections to uppercase in package paths/names is mostly
it is surprising and therefore bad. Various other packaging systems
have lowercase as policy, but this was never the case for pkgsrc,
leaving some interestingly confusing package names (graphics/MesaLib
being a favourite - everyone else calls it mesa). I really expect
most unix commands to work with lowercase arguments, I think a lot
of others do too. It also messes with alphabetical sorting.

We have a nice make variable modifier for dealing with this
in :tl.
