It's a simple matter to MFC the objformat to the 3.0 branch, but who knows if there will be another subpoint release? It's just as likely that 3.2.1 is the next release.
By the way, I mentioned /usr/libexec/binutils221/elf/ld.gold but /usr/libexec/binutils222/elf/ld.gold is probably significantly better.
Is there any way for the makefile to re-write the wrapper link to force ld to point to /usr/libexec/binutils222/elf/ld.gold ? or /usr/libexec/binutils221/elf/ld.gold if that one doesn't exist (e.g. dragonfly 2.10)?
