While all of you people are working out how to solve the problem
presented (an issue upon which I have no particular opinion), I'd
like to make one request of the eventual solution...
That is, in all (NetBSD) guest OS's, I'd very much prefer if
the network interfaces have the exact same names - what those
names are matters almost not at all, but each guest should have
the same interface names (assuming they have the same networking
configuration of course).
That makes sharing management scripts, etc, much much easier,
no need to make changes to what works in one guest before
copying it to all of the others.
So, whatever the eventual solution, please at least make
this possible (ie: inside the guest, don't have domain
identifiers as part of the interface names!)
