Log Message:
Pull up revisions 1.15-1.17 (requested by abs):
  Add sanity to partition handling.  Symlink netbsd.GENERIC to netbsd
  (while kern.tgz still contains netbsd.GENERIC).  Makes sysinst work
  on the sparc.  Fixes PR#7741 and a few more problems.
