We should strive for Open standards and compatibility with Free/Open
Source ecosystem. Neither SVR3 nor SVR4 is there.

Are there any NetBSD/VAX users needing compat_ibcs2 and compat_ultrix?

I can't speak for SVR3, but I do think it happens from time to time that there are Ultrix binaries being run by some people.

Also, isn't the Ultrix compatibility also possible to use by the mips port?
