nekochan should have recent versions of apache, PHP and so on  
available for IRIX.

It also depends on what kind of hardware you've got. My U60 is rock  
stable these days for instance but if you're concerned about size and  
power consumption it's probably not the best choice - an U5 might be  
a better pick. It can take 1GB RAM, up to 480MHz CPUs ( just one  
though ), nice onboard ethernet and 3 PCI slots. Also it's rather  
quiet and easy on the power bill. Onboard IDE sucks but it can boot  
from pretty much any SymBIOS SCSI card.

I've got an Indigo2 to hack - in case I ever find the time ( main  
obstacle for now is that the firmware only understands ELF64 ). And  
the X driver for the O2 still needs work too.
