Check out this tip to eject the CD from Mac OS X.  I did it on one of
my machines and it works fine.

The eject button on the drive is there, it's just hidden by the case, and
is SW controlled under OS X, so it won't eject if the OS thinks it
shouldn't.

There is an Apple technote on this, too, I think, but I can't find it.
