I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up.  But I was curious.

There is also the disparity between FreeBSD and NetBSD /dev .  I wouldn't want 
to attempt chroot from one to the other.

NetBSD /dev , this applies to OpenBSD too, is like what FreeBSD and Linux /dev 
used to be years back: preconfigured device nodee as opposed to dynamic.
