Now when I started implementing it, I realized that it would change the
ioctl-interface for vnd (an extended vndgeom moves the structure-offset
of vnd_size), which means that old applications using vnd, like an old
vnconfig, would no longer work with a new kernel.

No, I do not dare such a modification, just to make some ados floppy disk
images work with vnd.
