Upgrade 2.0 to 3.0

Hi,

I'm about to upgrade my 2.0 installation to 3.0, just had a couple of
questions:

Is the "kernel memory leak" problem fixed? (Just noticed that myself
yesterday)

I'm assuming I have to do a miniroot to swap, then boot from there
upgrade. Is the upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0 supported or do I need to do a
clean install?
