I considered that, but for now, I decided not to request commit access.

While I did have access some 20+ years ago, I have not touched NetBSD
for over two decades, until about a week or two ago. I do not feel
confident in my patches, not enough to commit them directly, and would
much prefer if someone reviewed them before they land.

I'll request commit access when I'm more confident in the changes I
make, and when I feel more likely to stick around NetBSD (and/or pkgsrc)
long-term.
