Well, we sort of have a norm that packages in main are ok, and wip
packages are allowed to be broken. I have been theoretically
maintainer and not doing it, and nobody has complained.
If someone would like to take what I have in wip and get it working and
update main, please feel free, and I'll be happy to stand back.
I too have a non-removal bias. This exceeded it.
