I didn't do anything wrong either.
It's just a vanilla Tribblix installed with the kitchen-sink overlay, then updated via zap:

zap refresh && zap update-overlay -a

I did no changes at all.

I get pkgsrc via git:

git clone https://github.com/NetBSD/pkgsrc
