netbsd-8 built-in heimdal insufficient?

After updating to pkgsrc-HEAD and rebuilding packages on a NetBSD/amd64
8.1_STABLE system, I discovered that "security/heimdal" had been installed.

On this system, "www/curl" and "security/p5-GSSAPI" claim to require
pkgsrc heimdal rather than use the base-system heimdal.

'/usr/bin/krb5-config' is functional and indicates the built-in heimdal
is v1.5.3, the same as "security/heimdal" ('/usr/pkg/bin/krb5-config').

So, why is pkgsrc "heimdal" being installed on netbsd-8?
