Yes, you are right - we have to wait for milestones to be on the safe
side.
But the status-quo is following: at the end of 2013 the package-management
was merged into the main development branch and all wanted to publish next
release soon.
But there was neither release before GCI 2013 nor before GSoC 2014 as
usually. They have just changed too much at once step when switching to PM.
So Alpha 4 is absolutely obsolete nowadays.

That is the reason why I deleted "/boot/common":
