I had that problem when building incrementally, i.e. replacing one or
the other with the extra option. (I don't recall the exact details since
it is several pkgsrc build-iterations ago). Usually I re-build a whole
lot of packages each new stable pksrc-branch, and if you compile both
those packages from scratch it doesn't seem to be a problem.
