Great -- thanks! In particular the old ffmpeg in pkgsrc blocked
a lot of other updates.
I've tested your new ffmpeg with gstreamer (totem) and it
seems to work.
A little ugliness is that the new ffmpeg version format doesn't
sort with the existing snapshot-date format.

This is probably due to the nonsense in override.c. Does it help
if you kill that completely (just disable the big #ifdef)?
