Problems Compiling pkgtools/digest on netbsd/macppc

Hello,

I get the following when trying to compile pkgtools/digest in pkgsrc-2007Q4 on 
NetBSD/macppc 3.1 and 4.0:

===> Configuring for digest-20070803
=> Modifying GNU configure scripts to avoid --recheck
=> Replacing config-guess with pkgsrc versions
=> Replacing config-sub with pkgsrc versions
=> Replacing install-sh with pkgsrc version
./configure: 342: Syntax error: ")" unexpected (expecting "then")
*** Error code 2

Stop.
make: stopped in /usr/pkgsrc/pkgtools/digest
*** Error code 1

Stop.
make: stopped in /usr/pkgsrc/pkgtools/digest

It compiles fine using NetBSD/i386 4.0.  Any tips on what I can do?
