        pkg_chk from pkgsrc-2012Q4 fails to upgrade binary packages on this
        system.  After issuing pkg_chk -uabk, it only prints like this:

        Missing: local/bitchx editors/nvi-m17n emulators/hercules [...]

        and no package gets upgraded.

        pkg_chk -l outputs like this:

        ** time/heirloom-date - Unable to extract pkgname

        for every package.
