I hate to say it, as AI is an unrestrained force rampantly creating slop
on the open Internet, but Anthropic's Glasswing could (if it does as it
promises) be a boon to NetBSD's development. Not for some automated tool
to go rewrite half the codebase in JavaScript or whatever but as a
no-cost, high-quality (supposedly), ongoing auditor.

The only real concerns, at least as it seems to me, are (1)
venture-Capitalist financial engineering shenanigans and (2) whether
this could be a slippery slope leading to low-quality, unreviewed LLM
code ending up in important places. The latter is unlikely but I'm
bringing it up out of caution.
