I am still reading the guide in depth to have more changes to do it well.

In the meantime  I ran lintian and complained for man pages in PREFIX/share/man instead of PREFIX/man. I learnt how to patch that because was hardcoded in the source code. Also complained for aesthetic things in text files.

I have not set PKG_DEVELOPER=yes yet, perhaps the warnings will rise :-)


So I think I will ask for a wip account and share that so the experts can correct/ensure everything is ok and I will improve my packaging skills.
