Re: Blender doesn’t seem to be working

I just tried on a NetBSD 10.0 formal release in a VMware machine.
With both blender packages available it crashed in the same way you say.

trying to ktruss it i see:
"llvm (version 0xd00) found no intrinsic for llvm.x86.vcv.... going to crash ... \n"

    I have just tried it, but the dbus package was already installed
    (pkgin says “nothing to do”) and Blender continues to not work.

    Note that I have the dbus service set up too, it was one of the
    first things I set up after installing the system.

    I suspect the log messages I got from Blender were actually
    unrelated to the issue I’m going through, unfortunately.
