I got a bleeding edge ver of NetBSD (9.5?) running on a spare drive.
I figured out how to connect to the internet and get name service.
If I go into rc.conf and set the following:
ipmon=YES
ipfilter=YES
and reboot -- then I CANT PING ANYONE.
If I turn off ipfilter using /etc/rc.d/ipfilter onestop. I can now ping
google.com with no
problems.
What is going on? Is something set incorrectly?
