Yes, that is what I'll make sysinst do (unless you installed serial console
boot blocks, or would have done that by default).

Side note: *all* of my amd64 machines I got last year and this year
do have com ports and I use them as console - exception: the notebooks.
(But yes, none of them had the internal connector wired to the back
panel when shiped.)

I also have no issue using serial consoles with TERM=wsvt25, as it is
not too far away from the proper "xterm" I usually change it to.
