I forgot to add that I have modular X installed and running.

When adding something X11 library dependent pkgin
complains about missing libraries in /usr/X11R7/lib:

/usr/X11R7/lib/libX11.so.7, needed by ${programme}
is not present in this system.
------

modular-xorg libs are located in /usr/pkg/lib.
I wanted to avoid duplicates by using modular-xorg.
