Gigabyte GX-BXBT-1900
Hi. I just got several Gigabyte GX-BXBT-1900 micro-micro systems. I've
been trying to install NetBSD on them with no luck. I've tried both the
6.1.5 and 7.0 iso files from the FTP server, as well as a 7.0
installation on a 256GB thumb drive. Neither works.
The kernel boots up until the point where it tries to find the root
filesystem. In all cases, it just sits at the prompt. It looks to me
like the system isn't accepting input from the USB keyboard and can see
neither the thumb drive nor the USB CD-ROM. Could it be possible that
the USB chipset on this machine isn't supported?
One of the things I tried is to boot the thumb drive and CD-ROM (in the
same external USB player) on an older system. Both boot without any
trouble.
Thanks.
Peace... Sridhar
