Re: FTP-client for Windows, safety concerns



Thanks for all the input - now I have a clear idea what to recommend.

The thing with the file explorer of Windows never came in my mind, I
didnt touch the MS-stuff for years. It's for sure a good solution
because the people already know how to use this program.

Filezilla is currently quite well developed. Available even for the Mac
and NetBSD. I will send the link to the users and they know what to do.
Sure a solution too. 

There also remains some homework for me. I will take a closer look to
vsftpd. It's a good point with the increasing amount of
Wifi-connections, thats quite a good spot to sniff for passwords. I
didn't think of that issue before ...
