Worrying kernel messages

        Hello,

my server produced a bunch of kernel messages like this yesterday:

cd0(piixide0:0:0): Check Condition on CDB: 0x00 00 00 00 00 00
    SENSE KEY: Not Ready
ASC/ASCQ: Medium Not Present - Tray Closed

tap0: Ethernet address f2:0b:a4:71:04:3a
tap0: detached

While I know what each of them mean I have no idea what triggered them.
I have definitely not configured a tap(4) device. I wonder whether
something (e.g. a "configure" script) does a weird kind of device
probe which triggers these kernel messages.

Has anybody else seen this?

        Kind regards
