Drives not showing up when plugged into Intel 82801GBM ICH7 SATA controller

Hi,

I have installed 5.1 to the flash drive of my NAS?it's only 128MiB so base
install was pretty tight, but it's on there!?and everything seems to be
great, apart from one thing: none of the drives I'm plugging in to the Intel
82801GBM ICH7 SATA controller even show up in the dmesg (which is reproduced
below). I've been through all the BIOS options available to me and nothing
makes a difference to what I'm seeing. There doesn't seem to be any
RAID-specific config options in the BIOS. Am I missing something?

Cheers,
Mark
