When I  ran a "make fetch-list" in your directory, I  saw that it
needed glib-2.26.1.tgz which isa used in pkgsrc/devel/glib2..

So it seems to be  problem to create the correct tree, of dependencies, when
you start a build at an arbitrary position in the set of sources.

Yes, I had a similar problem with KDE.  About the various flags:
Whenever I install or build a package, I send the output to a file  in the
directory /usr/pkg/reports.  E.g. when I build:

( echo ~~~~~BUILD~~~~; make package ) |& tee -a /usr/pkg/reports/$cwd:t

Yes, I speak csh with my box;  you can probably make something similar in bash..
But in my reports I can see what I should do after the install or
should have done
before.
