Save soundmixer settings

Hi NetBSD-List,
a little annoyance is bothering me.

I change the soundlevel (volume) with xmix - works all perfect. But
after rebooting it returns to the older settings.

How can I save the mixer settings in NetBSD so it survives reboot? I found no 
reference in the
manual about this issue.
