Re: How can I install libssl.so.6 on NetBSD 5?

Thank you for your reply. I've solved the problem by download and install 5.0.1 userland binary files manually.
And now the system works fine.

Dear all,
I'm trying to install lynx and mutt on my netbsd box. But each time I
start them, I get the error "no share object libssl.so.6 found". I
search my system lib directory and find libssl.so.3 and libssl.so.4, but
no libssl.so.6. I've installed the latest openssh. Thanks for any hints
from the list.

How are you trying to install those? From pkgsrc? Source or precompiled
binary?
