That option never caused a problem for me.

My NetBSD NFS servers works very well for me, definitely much better
than the Linux NFS server at work.

The only problem I have a the moment is caused by amd(8) under high
load (see PR bin/41259). That does however cause random failures
to access files and not hangs.
