Hie,
I've just installed NetBSD 4.0.1 on my dell D630. Everything works
fine, except my screen resolution. I can't start X with the Intel
driver so I try the vesa driver . I put this my xorg.conf in the
device section :
        Identifier "Card0"
        Driver "vesa"
        VendorName "Intel Corporation"

and in the screen section :

        DefaultDepth 24
        SubSection "Display"
                Viewport 1440 900
                Depth 24
                Modes "1440x900"
        EndSubSection

But when I start X, i'm in 1024x768.

If anyone can tell me where i'm wrong... :)

You could install 915resolution package (a binary on is available from
NetBSD mirrors).
The project homepage (with a mini howto) is here:

Ok, thanks a lot, i'm a little stupid guy because i've already use 915resolution once a time...
Thanks again !
